When I was about 8 years old, I learned I could program our Texas Instruments Computer. I grew up in the mountains, and in that area in the 80's there was very little available to an 8 year old for programming references. I found an Apple Basic printout of a program a teacher threw away, and guessed from that how to program the Texas Instruments Computer. Later I got a Tandy 1000HX Computer which was an 8086 based computer. It had GW-BASIC and Quick Basic on it. I used the built in help to learn to program with it. Resources became more available and I was able to buy a book on Graphics and Sound. It was all in BASIC. I then bought Turbo C++ and a book on that, and I self taught myself that. When I got to high school I went half and half on buying a modern computer. I got a Tandy Sensation! With this computer I was able to program video games. I was inspired by Nintendo and Sega originally. Back in 1986 I fell in love with Nintendo, but I always thought I could make better games than what were available. That is why I started trying to program The Texas Instruments computer our family had.

I decided to go to Mesa State College, where I got a BSCS. Unfortunately I graduated when the tech industry began to collapse, and the feild of Computer Science became saturated. I decided to write my own program and sell it. I wrote Pirates of the Grand Mystics using the Torque Game Engine, and C++.

Since then I have written a few utilities for some companies I worked for, and have many unfinished projects.

Some programming languages I have used are:
